Q. Will you place ads on my site?
A. We will NOT place ads on your site. We are a full service hosting comany.
Q. Do you allow sites to advertise for money, on their web site?
A. Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Visa, AMEX, PayPal and Checks

Q. Are your server's Linux or NT?
A. Our servers are Linux

Q. What control panel do you use?
A. The control panel we use is called Cpanel.

Q. Can I pay monthly?
A. Yes, you may pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.

Q. How long does it take to setup my account?
A. Your account will be setup within 24 hours or less of ordering.

Q. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
A. No

Q. Do you offer telnet or shell access?
A. No due to security reason's we do not offer telnet or shell access. You are still able to unzip files on the server using our file manager as well as the ability to setup cron jobs.

Q. Can I password protect directories?
A. Yes you can password protect directory's within CPanel.

Q. How long does it take to get my domain working?
A. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate.

Q. What do I set my domains name server's to?
A. provided in "setup complete email"

Q. Do you have a manual for our control panel?
A. Go to http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/index.html

Q. Where do I go to login to my control panel?
A. You go to http://www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel

 

E-mail

Q. How do I create email accounts?
A. To create an email account, login to your control panel, click the mail icon and click add/remove email account's.


Q. What do I put for both incoming and outgoing mail server?
A. For both incoming and outgoing mail servers, put mail.yourdomain.com

Q. Where do I go to check my emails using my browser?
A. yourdomain.com/webmail

Q. How can I setup webmail to go directly to horde, neomail or squirrel mail?
A. Login to the one you prefer to use, after doing so, copy the entire url from your address bar. You will now login to your cpanel and create a subdomain to go to the address you just copied.



CGI/ASP/PHP/MySql/JSP

Q. None of my cgi scripts are working on the server. How do I get them to work?
A. Make sure that they are chmoded to 755

Q. How do I create databases and manage them?
A. Login to your cpanel and click MySQL Databases. After your database is created you can manage it from phpmyadmin. This can be found at the very bottom of the MySQL page.

Billing

Q. How do I get the 30 day money back?
A. Simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to cancel within thirty days, and we process your refund in less then 24 hours.

Q. How do I make a payment?
A. All online payments are recurring. Your payment will automatically be deducted. If paying by check you will receive an invoice via email. If paying by credit card we will contact you to verify information.

Q. How do I stop billing?
A. If you wish to close your account simply email us (from contact email on account) your username, password, and why you wish to cancel. You must also include "I give you permission to delete my website and all of it's content."

Control Panel & Operating Systems
· What is the standard Operating System (OS) installed?
› CentOS Enterprise Linux is the standard in our plans.

· Does my service get a control panel?
› Yes, we offer cPanel/WHM on our servers.

· What is cPanel?
› Cpanel is a third party control panel that has been a leader on Linux server platforms.

Network & Data Center
· What is your uptime guarantee?
› We offer a 99.8% uptime SLA on all of our hosting plans.

Orders and Billing
· When are orders received?
› Orders are filled via our sales and billing department 8AM - 8PM EST Monday through Friday. Most often, orders are filled within 4 hours or less, 7 days a week.

· How am I billed, monthly?
› You are invoiced upon each of the recurring billing dates attached within your billing file. You can receive invoices monthly, quarterly, or annually. Your CC, or paypal account is automatically billed by our system on your invoice due date. We send invoices 15 days before the due date.

· What methods of payment do you accept?
› We accept Visa, American Express, Personal/Business Check and PayPal.

· How do I cancel services?
› To cancel any services, you must use email us from the email address listed as your contact at least 5 days in advance of your cancellation date request.


Our Policies
· May I view your Terms of Service?
› Our Terms of Service are available on our website and updated from time to time.

· What if my site breaks your "acceptable usage policies"?
› Please read the UP for more detail on violations and remedies under our Acceptable Use Policy.

· Do you have a Service Level Agreement?
› Yes, the SLA is available on our website.

Technical Support

· What is your average response time to a ticket?
› Tickets are replied to as quickly as possible. Average response time on support tickets is 15 minutes. Normal turnaround time on a ticket is 30 minutes or less. Some problems take longer than others to resolve, and at peak time, we may receive multiple messages at once, so response times may vary.

· What is your service charge for support not covered through normal means?
› Additional support not covered through normal means will incur a $35.00 an hour Tech fee billed in 15 minute increments (1 hour minimum).

· Will I be notified before being billed for a support request?
› Yes, if you request additional services, the services will not be performed until you verify that you agree to the payment terms expressed above.
